Wednesday, December 8th (Odd Day)

7th Grade:  Today in class we will continue to work with the <embed> tag.  Remember from Monday that the code to put audio on your page is <embed src="name of audio file"> and that's it!  There is a video on the class Youtube Channel if you want to see the code in action.  If you successfully included audio on your homepage I want you to work with someone who is having difficulty.  Another option when you're done is to explore the attributes that are associated with the <embed> tag.  For example, try to find out how to hide your music player, change the volume of the music when it starts, loop the music so it plays continuously, or if you are really good you can create a playlist for the user to click through and choose the song they hear.  We will also be starting an HTML Journal today which will be done on the computer.  We will talk about this toward the end of class.
