7th Grade: Due to the snow storm, your websites do not have to be completed until the end of class on Wednesday now that the marking period has been extended until January 20th. So you will have today and Wednesday to work during class time to get them finished. Be sure to check all of the rubrics in the handouts folder for your pages. A completed site should have a homepage, contact us page, about us page, and an FAQ page.
If you finish your site early you can create a new page such as a products page or employment opportunities page. You can then put images or forms on that page to enhance your site. Use this site to create more advanced forms. You can also put some animated images onto your site using this website.
8th Grade: Today we are going to explore some image editing software online called Picnik. You do not need an account to use picnik but it will allow you to save your images for further editing so I do suggest it. Your assignment today is to import a picture into Picnik and test out the editing tools that are available. I think you will find this website easy to use and also very powerful for a free editor. Have fun and be creative with your pictures!
