6th: On the first day of class I told you that we would be learning some new vocabulary words this semester and we will begin today. I have created a Microsoft Excel template that we will be using. After we start our notebook we will be doing some detective work using keyboard shortcuts.
7th: Now that you have an idea for your company it's time to start brainstorming the details. In class today, I will show you how to use the program "Inspiration" which is on your desktop. This class tutorial will be very helpful before you start your web. In order to make your web complete, you will need to include this information. The finished web for your company should be completed by the start of Monday's class.
8th: To get started today, check your answers to the homework from Monday's class. I will be posting the grades for that assignment on Friday. Also, we will be having a quiz next week on Podcasts (what they are, how they are used and some of the vocab) so you should use these answers to help you review. The quiz will be on Tuesday.
Now that we know what a podcast is and how they are used, we will be listening to three podcasts in class today. Using these podcasts as a basis, we will be determining as a class "what makes a podcast good?". You will be working in pairs to listen to the podcasts and then discuss some questions (only one person will need to type up the answers to share with the class). By the end of class today we should have a better idea about podcasts in general as well as what they should include. The podcasts are located in the V drive in the computer class folder and then in a folder called podcasts.
