6th: Today we begin to learn a new Microsoft Office product called PowerPoint. To get things started on the right note, I found a funny video about how NOT to use PowerPoint for your presentations. We will also be taking some notes on PowerPoint basics and how you should use PowerPoint.
7th: Today in class we will be making some changes to your computers that will allow us to work with HTML this semester. There are several YouTube videos on our class channel that reinforce what we will be doing in class today. After making those changes to our computers, we will be taking a look at the document structure tags for HTML and beginning our first page.
Here are the changes we will be making to our computers:
8th: Today in class, you will get the opportunity to share your completed web with a few of your neighbors in order to see what some of your peers have chosen for their digital story. This will also give you the opportunity to get feedback on your web and the content of your story so that you can add to it or make changes to what you have.
