6th:

web address the location of a webpage on the world wide web

Today in class we will:

• Take a short quiz on the five vocabulary words from the past week
• Talk about text size, color, style and white space
• Work on the iPod PowerPoints (These will be finished either Monday or Tuesday of next week)

7th: Today in class we are going to Read "Text Generation Gap: U R 2 Old (JK)" from the New York Times. We will discuss the article in class and answer a few questions. Ultimately I would like to try to answer the question: Are technology advancements good or bad for our society?

8th: In class today we will:

• Talk about document structure tags (put them into your notes)
• Use a Try It Editor (completing a guided handout)
• Find three tags on your own using the web to enter into the Try It Editor
• Print out notes for Monday's quiz
